One minute you’re painting, the next minute you’re dad-dancing behind the decks in a trendy bar in Durham City. So goes the rock’n’roll lifestyle. Like Richie Culver but not as cool.
I got my first set of turntables when i was around 13, and have been DJing ever since. I spent much of my youth in nightclubs, on both sides of the decks. I’ve ran my own little club nights and ran a record label for a few years. I didnt actually find art until much later.
But it’s all art innit?
Don’t worry though. it’s not going to turn into some sort of sleazy nightclub around here. My DJ appearances tend to be about 15 years apart.
